Artist Statement: Yes, this one glows in the dark. Who does not like a mushroom that glows in the dark? According to Wikipedia, they are found largely in temperate and tropical climates, currently, there are more than 125 known species of bioluminescent fungi. I had great fun creating and photographing this one. Glad I hung onto the glow-in-the-dark thread for over 10 years waiting for the right project.

Freestyle embroidery and quilting

I donate $2 for every tree stitched and sold to Landcare Tasmania
