This work is stitched on silk with cotton thread. All my work is done freestyle on the sewing machine. The sewing machine is my pencil and brush.

Blue wrens are one of my favorite little birds. They live happy busy lives in my garden and provide much amusement. They live in family groups with only the dominate males being the bright blue colour.

The blue gum is Tasmania’s floral emblem. And is common around Tasmania.

The work is stretched over a frame, ready to hang on your wall, signed, given a number and a certificate.

This series of work is part of my 5000 trees project.
